WHAT DO BCAA’S DO?

Branch Chain Amino Acids’ (L-Leucine; L-Isoleucine; L-Valine) are the amino acids (along with L-Glutamine) most important to muscle repair and growth. Of the essential amino acids that cannot be produced within the body, but must be consumed from food or supplements, the BCAA’s are the ones that are metabolized in the muscles rather than in the liver. This difference makes the BCAA’s the amino acids most able to preserve lean muscle while preventing catabolism (muscle breakdown). BCAA’s have also been shown to reduce fatigue in both anaerobic and endurance sports.

L-Citrulline Malate is a non-essential amino acid that supports L-arginine levels in the body by serving as a precursor to L-arginine production.
